Wow 40 days of leave is a looooonnnggg time. Graduation went off no problems. The whole family came down, highlight was watching my dad deal with an engine fire on short final in the sim. He made it down though! After graduation went on the aforementioned cruise (I think I mentioned it anyway). That was a blast...18 year old girls love pilots! (just kidding I would never do that.) After the cruise I went up to my unit and was told my class date was Oct 6 at little rock, class 05-01. Can't wait. Been up in Nova Scotia, Canada since about the 25th of August and will be here another week or so. Been nice to do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for awhile, but I'm itching to get back in the air.

Went to the Halifax international airshow this weekend and got to see the Blue Angels...pretty impresive. Also sat in an E-Model Herc up from Michigan I believe that was there for the static display. Crazy cockpit, going to be quite a handful, can't wait to learn it. Also, small world, one of my buddies from UPT's unit was up there with a KC-135 and they all knew my friend. So I meet people from Alabama, in Nova Scotia, and we are all friends with the same guy. Go figure. So about a week left of gambling and drinking (of course I'm joking) then its back to work. Bring 'er on.
